About Our Books and Community
Jungleburgh creates a love of reading through engaging books and multimedia. Our approach is to combine tangible books with ebooks, fully-acted audio books, games and other creative content. We also believe that learning platforms work best when they work together, just like people do. That is what makes us the Jungleburgh Children's Reading Community.
Reading to children is always a great idea at any age. Our books are geared for those who have learned the basics of reading and are ready for new challenges and a little vocabulary building. That will vary with individual development, but might best suit children ages 4 to 8. We'll even throw in a word or two that can be a jumping off point to talk about simple science or geography. As far as subject matter, our first goal is to fuel the imagination with fun stories and great illustrations. If we also reassure a child that it's okay to be different, that all problems can be overcome, and that we're all in this great, wide world together, then that makes things even better.
