Afshar Kharat is the lead audio engineer and sound designer for the Jungleburgh Reading Community. His background in voice over and anime production is prodigious. Over the past two decades he has worked with Houston's hottest and best VO talent, many of which have decades of film and anime dubbing, videogame, commercial, and broadcast recording experience. His Space Cowboy Audio is an independent, VO focused studio ready to tackle any voice-over related project for animation, films, and videogames. As a highly experienced voice-over director, ADR recordist, dialog editor, and writer, Afshar has worked on hundreds of animated episodes, films, audiobooks, and broadcast projects. He has specialized in localizing Japanese and Korean animation, films, and videogame dialogue and narration for the last sixteen years. His client list includes: Funimation, Okratron5000, Disney, ATT, 6ft Studios, Deutsche Synchron, Hachette Publishing (audiobooks). and the Houston Chronicle (podcasts). Afshar is a graduate of Texas State University in San Marcos.
