Patricia Duran is a Houston based stage and voice over actor. She has voiced many Anime shows and movies including Princess Principal (Princess), Just Because! (Hazuki Morikawa), Release the Spyce (Dolte), Revue Starlight (Hikari Kagura), Doreiku The Animation (Julia Katsushika), Anonymous Noise (Riko), Flip Flappers (Yayaka), Gate (Bozes Co Palestea), Girls und Panzer (Momo Kawashima), Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (Freya), Trinity Seven (Akio Fudo), Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon (Olivier), Food Wars! The Second Plate, Ushio & Tora (Kagari), and many more. Duran received the award for Best Actress in the 2019 Houston Press Theater Awards for her role as Maxima Terriblé Segunda in The Hunchback of Seville with Mildred’s Umbrella Theater. She was recognized by American Theatre Magazine as one of 20 Theatre Workers You Should Know. Duran is a founding company member and Associate Artistic Director of Mildred’s Umbrella Theatre where she has acted, directed, and designed in numerous productions. She is also founding artist of Gravity Players where she performed in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, which The Houston Chronicle called one of the best theatre productions in 2017. She has performed in NYC (The Libertine) and regionally at Virginia Repertory Theatre. Duran has acted on stage in numerous productions with Stages, A.D. Players, Main Street Theater, Catastrophic Theater, Classical Theater, and Alley Theater. Duran is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
